Serving New Hanover & Brunswick Counties
Collection and delivery are included from Southport and Leland across the river, through downtown Wilmington, out to Wrightsville, Carolina and Kure beaches, and north to Ogden, Porters Neck and Figure Eight. If your street is not on the list, ask — the route almost certainly passes it.
Collection routes
Three separate kinds of water share one county here, and a rug fails differently depending on which one is nearest. Downtown the river is tidal and brackish and it comes back up through the storm drains. Across the bridge at Leland the water is fresh, tannic and comes down out of the cypress swamps stained like tea. On the beaches it arrives sideways with a name attached, and then nobody is allowed back over the bridge for several days. Lay a Saturday-to-Saturday rental calendar over the top of that, add a film schedule that empties and refills furnished houses, and a rug in a living room on this coast is being asked to do something no rug in an ordinary house is asked to do. These are the areas we collect from most, and what tends to be waiting when we get there.
Historic District
In a raised historic house the rug's worst enemy is the space underneath it.

The damage here happens while the rug is not on the floor.

This is the neighborhood where the air conditioning is working perfectly and the rug is still damp.

Rugs on a weekly rental calendar get cleaned more often than any other rugs we see, and that is the problem rather than the cure.

The hazard here is not the storm, it is the days afterwards.

The most common avoidable ruin we see in this part of the county has nothing to do with the rug.
